Eligibility Requirements

Welcome to Seniors Real Estate Solutions, we are pleased to offer career opportunity for other passionate SRES® real estate agents who are dedicated to serving the senior community.

At Seniors Real Estate Solutions, we understand that working with seniors requires more than just real estate knowledge; it demands empathy, patience, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by older adults. We are committed to building a care-team of compassionate real estate professionals provincial wide who can go above and beyond to meet the needs of our seniors.

Our SRES®’s must take pride in compassionate and professional handling of the challenges seniors face as they transition into their new space. The emotional and physical challenges of downsizing appropriately for the next destination must be taken with great regard.

Our mission is to provide exceptional real estate services tailored specifically to the needs of our valued seniors, ensuring their needs are understood and are being met.  With the goal to minimize the intensity and limit compound grief for older adults and their families.

Why Eligibility Requirements Matter

Supporting clients aged 55+ during their role as executor or when acting under power of attorney requires more than technical expertise. It demands sensitivity to emotional context, legal precision, and the ability to navigate complex, often overwhelming transitions with clarity and care.

These individuals are frequently managing grief, family expectations, and time-sensitive responsibilities, all while trying to honor a loved one’s wishes and meet the legal obligations of probate. Many are doing this for the first time, without a care-team or professional guidance.

As real estate professionals, we must know how to assist with date-of-death valuations, interpret probate timelines, and act within the scope of our license, in full compliance with the Real Estate Services Act, British Columbia’s Wills, Estates and Succession Act (WESA), and the Residential Tenancy Act when tenanted properties are involved. These legislative frameworks shape how we communicate, document, and advocate especially when navigating tenancy transitions, vacant possession, or estate-held rental units.

These transactions often involve severe clutter, deferred maintenance, tenancy disputes, and emotionally charged property conditions. Executors face a heavy workload: coordinating clean-outs, managing donations and disposals, securing quotes, overseeing repairs, and maintaining meticulous records for legal and financial reporting.

By offering strategic clarity, compassionate oversight, and superior record-keeping support, we reduce stress, protect our clients’ legal standing, and empower them to fulfill their duties with confidence. We help them avoid costly missteps and preserve dignity throughout the process.

This level of care and professionalism makes us reputable and trustworthy in the eyes of our clients, legal professionals, and community partners. It reflects our commitment to excellence as specialists.

This is legacy work. When done well, it leaves families feeling supported, respected, and deeply grateful.
