The Power of Partnership: What Erin Brings to the Table

Award-Winning REALTOR®: Erin received the prestigious 2023 SRES® Outstanding Service Award from the National Association of Realtors® becoming the first recipient in Western Canada to earn this honour. The award recognizes her exceptional service, leadership, and advocacy for aging clients and their families.

First-Time Home Buyer Representation: Erin provides first-time buyers with the clarity, confidence, and informed guidance they need to navigate one of life’s biggest and most expensive decisions. Her approach is rooted in education, transparency, and advocacy ensuring buyers understand the entire process and have access to the right legal professionals to support their purchase, from financing and legal obligations to contract terms and behind-the-scenes property research.

She leverages high-tech tools to manage criteria-matched listings, streamline communication, and keep buyers informed in real time. Erin also helps decode industry jargon, avoid costly missteps, and make empowered choices that align with long-term goals. Her commitment to informed decision-making means every buyer walks away with more than just keys they gain knowledge, confidence, and a trusted advocate for future transitions.

Founder of Seniors Real Estate Solutions program: Erin created the Seniors Real Estate Solutions™ program to fill a critical gap for seniors and families navigating complex transitions without a family-led care team. Her full-service model offers downsizing, packing, moving, home set-up, cleaning, listing, and selling all project-managed under one roof.

The program provides strategic planning, vetted referrals, and compassionate guidance tailored to seniors, persons with disabilities, medically fragile families, those in convalescent stages, and families coping with loss or the death of a loved one as well as to executors, powers of attorney (POA), and families navigating probate. Every step is handled with dignity, legal sensitivity, and personalized care.

Supporting clients aged 55+ in roles of legal responsibility demands more than technical expertise it requires sensitivity to emotional context, legal precision, and the ability to manage grief, family dynamics, and time-sensitive obligations. Many are doing this for the first time, without appropriate professional support.

We assist with date-of-death valuations, probate requirements, and tenanted properties while operating within the scope of our license and in full compliance with the Real Estate Services Act, Wills, Estates and Succession Act (WESA), Residential Tenancy Act, Strata Property Act, BC Human Rights Code, and oversight by the BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA). These frameworks shape how we communicate, document, and support our clients.

These transactions often involve severe clutter or accumulated items, deferred maintenance, tenancy disputes, and emotionally charged property conditions. Executors face a heavy workload from the outset of this role and the need to maintaining meticulous records to avoid liability issues that can quickly arise. We produce clear, concise, and legally sound documentation tailored to each client’s needs, ensuring transparency and compliance throughout the process.

By offering strategic clarity and compassionate oversight, we reduce stress, protect legal standing, and empower clients to fulfill their duties with confidence. This level of care makes an SRES® reputable and trustworthy because this isn’t just a transaction, it’s legacy work with Seniors Real Estate Solutions™. When done well, it leaves families feeling supported, respected, and deeply grateful.

SRES® Protocol Development & Referral Leadership: Erin has developed senior action plan protocols to deepen the expertise of other Seniors Real Estate Specialist® designees across BC. When preparing a property for sale, she constructs a strategic, culturally sensitive plan that can be seamlessly referred to a trusted SRES® within her BC-wide referral program ensuring continuity, clarity, and dignity for families no matter where they live.

Her protocols empower referred agents to deliver consistent, high-quality service grounded in legal sensitivity and compassionate care. Whether you're an executor, POA, or supporting a loved one through transition, Erin’s SRES® network offers trusted continuity and peace of mind.

Residential Tenancy Advocacy: Erin supports homeowners and tenants through British Columbia’s complex and strict Residential Tenancy Branch (RTB) process, offering strategic guidance in disputes and documentation for respectful resolution. This expertise is especially valuable for homeowners selling tenanted properties ensuring legal compliance, clear communication, and dignity throughout the transition.

Whether navigating relationship breakdowns, unlawful evictions, landlord-tenant negotiations, or preparing for dispute resolution, Erin empowers all parties to understand their rights and take respectful, informed action. Her advocacy bridges the gap between legal support and emotional resilience creating space for mutual understanding, harmony in the occupied home, and often avoiding the stress of legal arbitration. Her commitment to justice and dignity ensures that everyone, regardless of age or circumstance, is heard, protected, and supported. Because that is the law.

Speaker and Workshop Educator: Erin frequently presents at community venues and professional panels, offering actionable insights on navigating real estate transitions. Through consumer education, she helps homeowners understand key legal components clarifying their relationship with REALTORS®, the importance of contracts and what to watch for, and why BC Assessment values do not reflect true market value. This education helps prevent overpriced, fatigued listings or underpriced sales that result in missed equity, unnecessary costs, and added stress.

She emphasizes the importance of preparing the home to the best standard possible under any circumstances. A well-prepared property whether modest or high-end can significantly leverage marketability, reduce buyer hesitation, and increase the likelihood of a successful sale. Erin’s workshops empower families to make informed decisions, protect their interests, and approach each transition with consumer confidence.

Extensive Specialized Training in Aging & Accessibility: Erin holds the official Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) designation from the National Association of REALTORS®, along with certifications in healthcare, disability awareness, dementia support, and caregiving essentials. Her expertise includes home safety risk assessments, aging-in-place modifications, and inclusive communication practices ensuring every client is supported with dignity, strategic insight, and person-centered oversight.

She is deeply knowledgeable in home modifications for aging-in-place, including common remodeling projects and solutions to accessibility barriers. Erin collaborates seamlessly with occupational therapists, licensed contractors, and interior designers to implement building and design strategies that create attractive, functional, and barrier-free living spaces. She is also adept at providing guidance on building codes, safety standards, and recommending useful products and resources tailored to each client’s needs.

Community Ally (Sponsorships & Initiatives): Erin actively supports causes that uplift vulnerable populations across BC. Her contributions include partnerships with the Children’s Hospital, Backpack Buddies, Senior Link Society, Indigenous cultural programs, Royal Canadian Legion and senior well-being initiatives each chosen to reflect her commitment to dignity, equity, and intergenerational care.

With every transaction, one or more of these organizations benefit directly, as Erin makes a meaningful contribution to further support their work. This ensures that every move forward in real estate also helps move a community forward in care.
